Waiting… is SO hard to do !

As I sit here and look down at my little Suzy-Q trying to get comfortable, I realize that the time is drawing near for her to have these puppies. We have two weeks to go and she is miserable… grunting everytime she gets up and never seeming to get comfortable.

I have started getting the room ready for her, which included a complete dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing base boards and tile floors. We have moved furniture around so that there is plenty of room for the whelping box. I thought it would be wise to bring Suzy up to see this all taking place so that she would start to get ready herself…. well, Suzy came into the room looked around like she approved of the furniture placement,  looked to her left and saw the whelping box… the look of horror came over her face and she turned, as fast as a very pregnant girl could, and ran back down stairs. I don’t think she is ready to say the least.

So the wait is on and the count down has begun. We are ready for the puppies, but I don’t think Suzy is as she knows the work that it is going to take to raise these little pups !

One more thing… HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY SUZY-Q !!
