What was I thinking???

I can not help but think of what this year has to offer. So many things are changing around me. Sometimes I think I am in slow motion and the world is going so fast. So, what does 2009 have in store for me ??
This is what I hope for : health and happiness for myself , my family and friends. I hope that I have a beautiful litter of puppies and a great time showing the young dogs that will be starting their show career. I hope to see my friends more this year. But most of all I hope that I can learn to be patient with myself and not rush into things… well at least I am going to try !
For those who haven’t heard, in a moment of insanity, I purchased a 6 month old Lab puppy for my husband. I seemed to have forgotten what a 6 month old Lab puppy is like… chewing on everything she can get her mouth on… Oh and being able to get up on the counter and eat whatever is within reach… WHAT WAS I THINKING ??? Well, what I was thinking it is a way for Mike and I to have something to do together… I combined his passion for hunting and mine for dogs. Next week we start her with her “bird training” so we’ll see how this goes… Oh, her name is Nelli for Mike’s favorite gun the Benelli shotgun… I am sure to be writing about her soon…
